Bantam AAA

Bantam AAA is the elite Bantam level of Vancouver Community Baseball's Bantam Division.

It is important to know that the Bantam AAA is both spring and summer baseball, unlike Bantam AA and Pee Wee where there are 2 distinct seasons.

The Bantam Bantam AAA season commences with league games in mid April and finishes with the Provincials in early August.

Accordingly, playing Bantam AAA requires significant commitment, but you can be assured that the level of play and rewards make it well worth that commitment.

The Bantam AAA home diamond is at Hillcrest Park which is near Nat Bailey Stadium.

The majority of games will be played in the Lower Mainland. However, the team will have at least one trip to Vancouver Island and the interior. The games on these trips will be double headers on the weekend, therefore minimizing the travel.

Age Requirement

In order to be eligible for Bantam aged baseball, players must be born in 2002 or 2003. A copy of each player's birth certificate is required for registration.

BCMBA Bantam AAA Import Rules

Each player's permanent address must be within Vancouver Community Baseball's catchment which is west of Fraser Street, south of Burrard Inlet and north of the Fraser River. If you have any questions about your child's eligility to play with Vancouver Community Baseball, do not hesitate to contact Pat Chaba.

Equipment and Uniforms

Bantam AAA is a wood bat division. Vancouver Community Baseball will supply wood bats, jerseys, hats, belts, and socks. Players are to provide their own batting helmets and grey baseball pants. The jerseys must be returned at the end of the season.

Coaches

The coaches for the upcoming season will be Mike Smythe and Pat Reynolds.
